Most Vegas regulars will have come across the popular Gems game, sometimes referred to as Wild Tiles. This "gem" from IGT has
been around for ages and I last played it in Macau. It's a slot with a difference and will be familiar to a lot of you in it's
style of play. In fact the "tumbling reels" effect has since been borrowed for the popular Davinci
Diamonds slot, also by IGT albeit in a more slot-oriented format. Incidentally, note that this version, while very close
to the land-based version from Vegas, lacks the "Match The Gem" second level screen. Instead, it awards you a number of points
x your line bet when you uncover the Gems "bonus".
The version of Gems you see here isn't available to play for real money online, Intercasino (No USA players) has a game called "Bejeweled" which is almost identical and can be played for
real cash if you fancy your chances. Strangely, Gems isn't available at any other online casinos
beside Intercasino and as US players can't play there, that's not good news.
