Most Vegas-bound slots players will be familiar with the Super Jackpot Party slot from WMS Gaming, a leading progressive
game that is pretty popular. Well WMS have launched
Jackpot Party casino to the UK, Sweden, Finland and Icelandic audiences which
provides online access to a host of their famous slots including the Wizard Of Oz, several Star Trek slots, games from
the Hot Hot Super Respin series including Griffin's Gate, Plataea and Hearts Of Venice plus G+ games like
Palace Of Riches II, the original Zeus slot and G+ Deluxe game, Kronos.
Money Burst games like Glitz and the Bruce Lee slot are also available - and Super Jackpot Party itself of course!
Jackpot Party casino is licenced in Alderney - the strictest and most secure online casino jurisdiction - although that's probably no surprise
and WMS are a huge and trusted brand in any case. In fact, all of the online casinos that carry IGT slots
are also licenced here. There are a good range of deposit and cashout options available at Jackpot Party including all the usual debit and credit
cards along with the popular eWallets like Neteller and Moneybookers.
There are several styles of Wizard Of Oz slots in land-based casinos - White Witch and Black Witch being the 3D ones I have played -
and the online slots include the the "Ruby Slippers" and "Emerald City" variants. I guess the main downside is that playing these games
online, you'll miss out on the Bose stereo seats that accompany them in the land-based casinos (surround-sound in the headrests!), but they are both
great slot games anyway. The Lord Of The Rings slot won't be available at Jackpot Party casino I'm told.
I also neglected to mention that some Spinning Streak games are also available. John Wayne and Riches Of The Amazon
spring to mind. Not my favourite type of slot to be honest but I can see why they would have their fans. Certainly original.
Overall, I think it's brilliant that WMS Gaming finally joined IGT in releasing their slot games online. Although Jackpot Party casino is the
WMS flagship, it appears that they do intend licensing their slots out to other online casinos in the near future. I'd imagine that when the
USA regulation is finally sorted there will be some pressure, not to mention some potentially lucrative licences, to licence them to the
Vegas Casinos when they get round to doing their own thing online. It will be interesting to see whether their own
Jackpot Party online casino will have stolen a march by that time.
I have written a more detailed Jackpot Party Casino Review for the WMSslots.net microsite
if you want to read more. Also, keep an eye on the free slots here for some more WMS games in 2013. I'm told that freeplay
versions of more Jackpot Party games, in addition to Zeus, are in production, including Wizard Of Oz and Bruce Lee.
