Zeus Slot

Ever been to Las Vegas, stood in the middle of the slots section and closed your eyes? If you have, you'll know exactly where I am headed with this one. WMS have started to launch their Vegas slots into online casinos and the Zeus Slot is one of the first to land. WMS are famed for their Jackpot Party progressive slot game and the unique gameplay of their "Hot Hot Super Respin" slots series with it's very distinctive sound engine that sounds like a jet engine warming up at times!
The Zeus slot was a precursor to one of my favourite games, Zeus 2, which I first played at the Venetian casino in Macau back in 2007 and again more recently on a trip to Vegas at the Encore. Like one of it's cousins, the Palace of Riches slot (2nd edition), the Super Respin series actually pulled me away from IGT slots like my favorite Cleopatra slot and the excellent DaVinci Diamonds for the first time ever LOL.
It looks like games such as Zeus, the amazing Star Trek slots, the Wizard Of Oz series, Lord Of The Rings and the excellent "Colossal Reels" games (Spartacus, Lil Red, Van Helsing etc) have propelled WMS right up there alongside IGT and in fact, 2011 saw them overtake IGT in floor space at one popular Las Vegas casino and even launch some of the games online on their very own Jackpot Party site (full review here).
Anyway, onto the Zeus slot itself. The video below is a promo for the new online version which is available at Jackpot Party casino (doesn't take US players right now). I say new, but bear in mind that this is the original Zeus slot and the Zeus II slot will probably be forthcoming once WMS are settled in online. The slot itself has stacked wilds on every reel and the obligatory free spins feature. The free spins are triggered by getting the blue bonus symbols on reels 1, 2 and 3 for 10 free spins but here's the twist. If you get all 5 of these symbols then you get 100 free spins! Now that my friends, is some bonus! But lets be honest it's not easy and I've yet to see it happen.
