You may already be familiar with the Playtech Hulk slot - not to be confused with the now decommissioned Cryptologic version which was radically diffferent - as it's part of the Playtech Marvel slots series, several of which already feature in the OCV slots inventory. I have to say that Playtech have done a fantastic job with their Marvel slots and, while I marginally prefer Fantastic 4 slot because of it's wicked bonus feature, The Hulk and the original Iron Man slot are also among my other favorite games in the series.
The Hulk features an expanding wild on reel 3, although if you get the wild symbol on reels 2, 3 and 4 simultaneosuly, all three wilds expand and you get a respin which is potentially the largest win you'll get from the Hulk slot. Although it has a free spins bonus (10 at 3x) and the Smash It Up bonus - which is essentially a pick 'em style bonus with a multiplier up to x5 - neither of these features really ever pay out large amounts unless you get the 3 expanding wilds in the free spins at 3x where you can win big! But nonetheless it's an excellent game with fantastic graphics and sounds and very entertaining.
The Hulk is certainly a better slot IMO than the X-Men slot or the rather disappointing "Punisher", "Blade" and "Elektra" games in the same series, but it's not quite reaching the heights achieved by the truly awesome Gladiator slot that you'll find at the same online casinos that carry Playtech's Marvel slots.
Although the Marvel slots steal the show, there are some other Playtech slots that you will also find here on OCV that are worth looking at. These include the excellent Great Blue slot with it's 10x multipliers and stacked wilds (highly volatile at times!) and the slightly different Full Moon Fortunes which also has multipliers of up to x25. Both have become cult slot games because of their propensity to award occasional very big wins!
It's a shame some of these Marvel games can't be found in land-based casinos but that is now unlikely to happen as Disney bought Marvel and promptly announced that, because of their image, any gambling licences would be allowed to expire. Thus, these Playtech Marvel slot games will disappear from our screens in 2016. Expect to see some good alternatives spring up ahead of that though. It's a real shame in my opinion because, although punters will always flock to the old favorites like IGT's Cleopatra slot, I firmly believe that's these Marvel slot games like Hulk, The Avengers and Fantastic 4 would go down a storm on multi-game machines like the Gaminator machines Novomatic do for Book Of Ra and the like.
