There are a handful of Aristocrat slots that have become firm favorites with land-based players down the years,
among them games like Buffalo, the legendary Pompeii slot and Where's The Gold. In
terms of online slots though, the choice of Aristocrat games is relatively sparse. A few well-known games
like Queen Of The Nile (the game which inspired IGT's infamous Cleopatra slots) and the
sequel which you can play here, Queen Of The Nile 2 plus one of
my personal favorites, Choy Sun Doa are available but in general, you'll
find many more Aristocrat games in land-based casinos than online.
Where's The Gold is one of the few and it is very popular, largely because it is a game where you get the
free spin feature pretty frequently, unlike many other Aristocrat games! A clone of the Let's Go Fish'n game,
Where's The Gold was one of the first Aristocrat games to introduce the Extra Wilds concept. When you get the
feature, you get a random number of free spins (normally around 5 or 6) and usually one or two of the other
symbols
are designated as wild symbols. So although you don't get many free spins and there is no win multiplier, the
chances of getting 5 wilds are actually pretty decent and, because the feature occus quite a lot, is something
you will see with reasonable regularity if you stick with the game.
The bad news for players from countries such as the US and Australia is that you can't play the Where's The Gold
slot at online casinos because of licensing issues in countries where online gambling is unregulated. On a lot
of sites, their games are even "choked" in free-play mode in those countries to avoid server overloads for real-money
players so don't be surprised if even the free-play versions of games like this and Pompeii go down in busy
periods. You could try some of the WMS slots like Black Knight,

Raging Rhino at times like these: just as good if not better than the
